Trinidad and Tobago does not use zip codes. The country uses a postal code system that consists of five digits, ranging from 1 to 99999. The first digit represents one of 10 postal regions, and the remaining four digits represent specific delivery points within that region. The postal code system was implemented in 2012 to improve mail delivery and facilitate international mail exchange. However, many locals still rely on landmarks and other specific instructions to locate addresses.
